How to care for cut flowers
Simple steps so your bouquet lasts longer — water, trim, and placement.
Trim on arrival
Cut stems at an angle under running water, then place them in a clean vase filled with cool water. Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Change water daily
Fresh water slows bacteria. Every day or two, rinse the vase, re-trim a little, and refill.
Keep them cool
Avoid direct sun, heating vents, and ripe fruit — ethylene gas shortens bloom life.
